Give a little, take more! People are willing to pay higher down payments for a car if they are convinced that they will save in the long run by using less fuel.

When cross analyzing these answers with the regional origin of the respondents it is evident that all the regions are not willing to pay more. Nearly 14.6% of the North Americans and nearly 17.4% of Europeans and an average of 16.25% for the other regions are not willing to pay more for more fuel efficient vehicles. Although these numbers are quite similar it is obvious that the large majority is willing to pay a premium for energy efficient vehicles. 
The question remains of what kind of alternative-fuel vehicle the respondents would be interested in.
