The Bounce rate can be explained as the number of people which leave the homepage without clicking on anything on the website. We can see that initially the bounce rate is low and as time goes on the bounce rate increases. The reason for this is that the traffic to the site was decreasing dramatically after May 29th therefore the number of interested and random visitors started to match. The random visitors might show less interest and might not be interested to engage into a survey whereas the interested and engaged visitor will. We saw a positive correlation with the total number of visitors decreasing and the bounce rate increasing. In the graphs below the trends can be compared.
